Job Requirements
In order to teach English in Taiwan, it is essential that you meet the following requirements. These requirements are followed strictly by our schools and immigration offices in Taiwan. If you don’t meet these requirements it will be next to impossible to secure legal employment and visas in Taiwan.
- Be a Native English Speaker from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and United States.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline OR an Associate's degree with a TEFL / TESOL Certificate.
- You must be able to sign a one-year contract. All our contracts are one year in duration. In order to follow Taiwanese law, we cannot offer short-term, seasonal or summer contracts.
- You must be physically and mentally healthy. All our teachers must pass a health check in order to gain legal working status.
- Criminal Record Check - You must provide a criminal record statement from your home country.
