Imported pharmaceutical products are very cheap and readily available.
Optometrists are numerous and all manner of prescription glasses and contact lenses can be ordered and purchased.


It is recommended you get the following basic vaccinations for Viet Nam and all of Asia:

  • Tetanus
  • Hepatitis A & B
  • Polio,
  • Typhoid
  • Rabies
  • Diphtheria
  • Yellow Fever
  • Japanese encephalitis
